As part of our topic, Chocolate around the world, Year 4 spent an amazing day at Cadbury’s World. During the visit, the children discovered where chocolate originated from, how it is produced and how chocolate has changed over the years. The children also had the opportunity to write their name in chocolate and sample a variety of different types of chocolates. The visit provided the opportunity for the children to take part in various interactive activities and games based around chocolate. After lunch, they were treated to a viewing in the 4D cinema which proved to be the highlight of the visit. The day finished with a visit to the gift shop where children were able to buy some special chocolate treats before returning to school.
