On Friday 14th June, 25 children from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 took part in the Wolverhampton Great School Run. In the morning, the children participated in taster sessions where they tried Boxercise, Fencing, Fun Football and Tennis. Then, the children had a quick lunch break to refuel ready for the eagerly awaited run. Despite the pouring rain, the children gave the run their all – nobody gave up!

I was incredibly proud of the Core Values they demonstrated at the event: determination, positivity, success and resilience. Combining all the distances together, the children ran 108km in 25 minutes, which is a phenomenal achievement! We have many budding cross-country stars for next year! Well done!
