To complete our topic on winter, Year one worked in small groups and
took part in a variety of different activities.
The children drew a winter scene using candles and water colours.
In the Forest School the children built a house for a hedgehog using
outdoor materials. They also drew a picture of a hedgehog using sticks as
paintbrushes and used a thermometer to measure the temperature.
They built houses for a winter animal using lego, straws and lollipop sticks.
They sang songs, played musical instruments and then drank hot chocolate
with tasty biscuits.
